Chaos Labyrinth Mode Announcement
After a week break to focus on Christmas shopping, I'm back to work on the new mode I thought of during development. Chaos labyrinth mode will be added to the game hopefully soon.
It is an endless mode where you will fight random enemy encounters, which will consist of enemies from the story demo, and some new ones that I couldn't fit into the demo due to story conflicts (I think that's the right term).
I'll also need to add a new shop for this, along with new weapons to use (both melee and ranged). I'll probably have 2 vendors appear every 10 floors, where one of them will consistently be the same and always provide items, and another with a random weapon selection each time it appears.
Because of this endless mode, I'll also need to increase the level cap for it. However, it's not gonna be a crazy high number, it will probably be around level 20-30. This will need to have some new spells as well for the later levels.
I'm also thinking of having the player level always begin at 1 and just letting it grow continuously as you progress further into the labyrinth, or maybe have a save migration for people that beat the demo, or maybe even both.
This mode is still very early in development so some things may change over time.
